Conversational tracking in Juno
What is
conversational tracking?
In Juno, Conversational Tracking is a term coined by SharedGenes, Inc. for its six-stage approach to symptom tracking: describe, clarify, record, connect, review and use. [11]
Fatigue, pain and brain fog can make it hard to remember details, find the right fields and explain everything again. Juno gives you more ways to keep the thread of what is happening.

Say it while it is fresh.
Speak to Juno, dictate a message, type a few words or log manually. You can describe when a symptom started and what else was happening without sorting every detail into separate fields. Juno can record symptoms from the conversation. [1] [11]
Keep the context with it.
“My energy dropped after lunch” means more alongside your earlier updates, sleep, activities and connected health data. Juno can ask follow-up questions and help you revisit those details later, without rebuilding the story from memory. [1]
Bring something useful forward.
Talk through changes over time, prepare questions and create an appointment summary. Patterns can suggest what to discuss with a clinician; they do not prove what caused a symptom. [1]
The six steps in our approach
- Describe
- Clarify
- Record
- Connect
- Review
- Use
These six stages turn an update about your day into a record you can build on. Speaking takes energy too; choose whichever way of tracking is manageable that day. Explore the framework →

Make room for what you need
Which app fits your day?
When logging
feels like more work.
Choose Juno if you want to talk through symptoms, keep your health context together and prepare readable summaries. Voice, dictation, text and manual entry give you a choice on harder days. [1] [11]
It also brings an in-app community into the same place as your tracking and conversations. [4]
When cost or
offline access comes first.
Bearable’s standard subscription is less expensive. Its free tier may also cover the tracking you need, with Premium offering more analysis. [2] [7]
If you need to record symptoms without an internet connection, Bearable has that practical advantage. Juno requires internet access. [10] [12]

A few more details
Good questions.
More about using Juno and Bearable.
Is Juno better than Bearable for chronic fatigue?
Juno can be a better fit when fatigue, pain or brain fog make manual logging difficult: you can speak, dictate, type or log manually, and revisit your updates with their context. Bearable costs less and works offline. This is a feature comparison, not evidence that either app treats fatigue. [1] [11] [12]
Can I track symptoms manually in Juno?
Yes. Juno supports manual symptom logging as well as voice conversations, dictation and text. You can choose the method that feels easiest each time. [11]
Does Juno work offline?
No. Juno requires an internet connection. Bearable can be used offline according to information supplied for this comparison; that feature was not independently tested. [10] [12]
Can I use Juno and Bearable together?
Yes. Juno supports bringing in Bearable data, according to the Juno team, and Bearable offers CSV export. You can keep Bearable for logging and use Juno for conversations and summaries. We do not claim automatic two-way syncing. [2] [11]
How do Juno and Bearable handle my data?
Both companies say they do not sell personal data. Juno says health data is not used to train AI models and that its AI providers are contractually prohibited from training on it. Read each privacy policy for the full details of processing, retention and your rights. [8] [9]
Does Juno replace a doctor or a human health coach?
No. Juno is an AI health assistant for tracking and wellbeing support. It does not diagnose or treat conditions, and it does not replace a clinician or human health coach. [6]
